Booking Terms & Conditions

1. Quotes & enquiries

Submitting the booking form is an enquiry, not a confirmed booking. We will confirm availability and send a written quote. Prices shown on this site are guide prices “from” and depend on final guest numbers, menu choices, travel and date.

2. Securing your date

A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking and secure your date. Your date is only held once the deposit reflects in our account, using the payment reference on your quote.

3. Balance

The balance is due no later than 7 days before the event date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Final numbers

Final guest numbers and menu choices must be confirmed at least 7 days before the event. This is the minimum number you will be charged for; increases after this point are subject to availability.

5. Cancellations & changes

Cancellations more than 14 days before the event: the deposit may be held as credit toward a future date within 6 months. Cancellations within 14 days of the event: the deposit is non-refundable as ingredients, staffing and equipment are committed.

Date changes are treated as a new booking subject to availability; the deposit may be transferred once to a date within 6 months where notice is given more than 14 days before the original date.

6. What is included

Unless your quote says otherwise, packages include the spit braai equipment, cooking, setup and serving by our team, and the items listed for that package. Tables, chairs, cutlery, crockery, marquees and venue hire are not included unless quoted.

7. On the day

We require reasonable access to the venue, a safe level area for the braai away from overhanging trees and structures, and access to power and water where applicable. The client is responsible for any venue rules, permissions and fire regulations.

8. Equipment hire

Where equipment is hired without catering, it must be returned clean and undamaged. The hirer is responsible for safe use and for any loss or damage while in their care. A refundable deposit may apply.

9. Liability

We take food safety seriously and prepare food with care. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to a booking is limited to the total amount paid for that booking. Please tell us in advance about allergies or dietary requirements so we can advise what we can accommodate.
